Let's face it, trucking has been what I have been doing since 1995. But it is time to move on. Being paid by the mile and considering the current economy, profits are weak. Costly repairs are causing income to vanish.
Photography has been a hobby...
I've been yielding a camera most of my life and capturing at many events and family gatherings. It is time for this hobby to progress into something worthwhile.
Family and Friends knows my ability...
...even asking advice. I must admit my thoughts about friends and family. On a TV show I recently watched, one says "you chose your friends, you get family". Sometimes, friends turn into Family. There are several who calls me without any reason but to talk and catch up, these are who I want to talk to. One grows with family, yet in time, they seem to be the ones who ignore you the most. Life gets busy but not so busy we should not stop for an occasional Rum and Root Beer. And family wants to start business with me.
Recently, my Family grew unexpectantly. I am truly blessed and grateful. It seems, when one thinks he or she has lost all they can, something (or someone) is presented.

A Touch of me...
ONE THOUGHT BEHIND PLANNING IS TO ALWAYS REMAIN FLEXIBLE. I RECENTLY BECAME VERY FLEXIBLE.
WHAT IS AN APPRENTICE ATHELETE ANYWAYS? I recently found the answer, now to get some photos of him. I was wondering why I came up with the want for a faster body and lens. Hocky is a fast sport and sometimes has small subjects.

Then buying something responsible to use just in case it doesn't work (Canon t5i Rebel kit and zoom) and establishing a website...
TO TAKING THE NEXT STEP.
Well, I was just going to buy an extender for my current zooms. But touching the models I have been researching and the ability to buy, I'm taking the first steps, I bought a mirrorless full frame (Canon EOS R kit and zoom). Task, Conditions, Standards. I'm getting there. A few lenses, a body and printer later, I'm ready to take your best shots.
UPDATE: I now have an everyday body and numerous lenses almost ready for your every photography needs. Recently, one called herself my Apprentice. I have given her access to a camera body and lenses to work central Florida.
I am now considering videography.
MORE TO COME...
...New York City on foot with a new lens was awesome. I'm ready to reach for the stars.
I've made my way to a few new lenses. One that I am particularly fond of is an 85mm for portraits that defuses the background. Just bear in mind I can photo in Macro with an 8mm and currently capable of 800mm for your moon shots.

Most of my experimentation has been in person including events. I have yet to have someone contact me with interest in "hiring" a shoot. But soon, I should be able to devote more time to my photography away from trucking.
